Staycation continues ! Cousins, Ellen and Dad visit

Dad is here on his way to mendocino. He's helping to finish the electrical outlets in the lower room. The laminate is here and we'll be putting it in next week.

Swimming at Shinsheimer

Another fine day of Staycation! Herb and Gayle were here and I wanted to do something with the family this time during the day. So after a spontaneous garage sale with neighbors we go to the Shinsheimer pool. As noted Sofia was ready before we got there.

Sofia will start swim lessons in 2 wks. Now she can dunk her head and not cry if unexpected.

Later we decided to go surf with friends.We "suited" up

We first started out on the pony

then the face painting

then all the kid rides where parents can ride free but this one she can do herself.

We rode on the merry go round 10 times.

All food was 5 bucks, 5 bucks, 5 bucks...

We made it home at 7 pm, sofia falls asleep in the car.

11 th anniversary at Cambria Pines Lodge

We decided to go on a mini vacation for our anniversary on June 3rd but Dad was here working on the house so we rainchecked till July. This was the first day of my "staycation". I took a week off and we all stayed in the area. CPL was big but the room was nice and private. It was so cozy we got there at 3:00 and took a nap.

When we did decide to explore we discovered lots of winding paths . i got an idea for our house.

The next day we get coffee in cute Cambria and drive north of course to look for surf. Here we are up the road in San Simeon where Todd surfs Pico creek. I did a 2 hr walk on the headlands. It was beautiful.

After our surf and walk we check out Robins and Indigo moon in Cambria

Wow , after we return home the next day is Dada's birthday.
