So we went to see Brain, Ellen, Gwen and Trev . Dad and Spike were there. It was great. Gwendolyn is so good with Sofia, Trevor is good too. She was playing hard in the Nacho hut and retrieving balls for Trevor off the deck. We drove to Eagle Rosk to meet Olive Kuska and see Rebecca and Eric again. What a cute house they have. Then it was on to laguna beach to see the cousins on the other side. Fun at the beach and surfing. Sofia loves her full suit and loved the sensation of riding the bogie board. At one and a half thats pretty cool. She is talking in sentences and communicated well.

Sofia will now sit in the wagon and let us cart her down to the market 2 blocks away. Then we go to the park and hang out with all the other kids.

Halloween Fun

We got this costume last year but Sofia was too small to wear it. Or actually we couldn't motivate to go out. This year we went around our neighborhood with our friends Matt, Devon, Elsie Joe and Ray who Sofia calls for all the time. What am I? Looking from the back

Grandpa comes to visit

Sofia is hopefully going to love surfing as much as we do. She has her own wetsuit already but didnt want to wear it today.Todd's surfing his longboard more often. This was the first time in a long time we surfed together. Grandpa CJ hung out with Sofia on the beach.

Dad is visiting from Tucson for Trevor's 7th birthday in LA and takes Sofia to the beach on his way down. It was so warm and beautiful.

Farmers and Farmer's Market

I grew these Spanish onions
At the farmer's market we pile everything that we buy into the wagon and Sofia eats and shops. We get Alaskan salmon now and grass feed beef. Its a one stop shop.

A stroll in the garden before we go. We usually have been gardening before the market and whatever we don't grow we can buy.

We went to Bolinas

On the way home form Bolinas in Mill valley we stopped at the pumpkin patch.

Here's Russ and Todd. Jen and Russ were here for a wedding down from Oregon so we decided to meet rendezvous.
We also stayed with our friends Nick Angela and Arianna who are long time locals. We attempted to surf in the foot high waves. Probably more fun on the beach.

Camping in Big Sur

She loves the water no matter the temp. This is at sanddollar beach on the Big Sur coast.

She knows about HOT!!!
Huffing it to the beach, about now she had a major meltdown due to nap failure and we turned around and went back to camp. Had a nice nap in our big new tent.
