I havent done this hike for 2 years and now that Sofia is such a good walker we have done it 3 times this week! found out there are amazing oak groves to play in and today we spotted a black ? warbler who inhabits oak habitat. There was a big hatch of termites or some ant that the bird was eating up. Going slow you see alot.

We bought 3 of these at H dock and I canned them. Bob gave me a pressure canner, Thanks Bob. and thanks Sofia for taking the picture.

One the walk home we gathered some hawk feathers

Here at Eva's picking our apples. 20 # or so. We dried them in the dehydrator Betty gave me last year! A wonderful trip. This is another Sofia picture and she's only 3 1/2

Taking care of Bib Bib

Sofia has had Bib Bib since she was 6 months old, she is worn and tattered now but Sofia loves her and takes good care of her. Here she is putting Bib in the reading corner with a book because she is going to preschool. She tells her, "when i get back I'll turn the pages for you".

Now she had Bib outside for a breakfast picnic, she was also going to the bank in the way back of the yard and then "Del Mar" which is a park we go to. She had food and crayons in the crib and her purse with money, oh and her little slippers.
