Fun with Mom

Sofia gets up so early that I can make muffins before I go to work. I'll have to make these when Paula and Ron come, which is June 2nd.

I wanted to plant veges I could store a while. I wish I had a root cellar but all we have is the too small fridge. I have been reading about shopping locally, eating the freshest foods to include meat and dairy so I was inspired. I'd love to have chickens too. Maybe someday.

In the garden

My precious little gardener. She is now able to walk by herself in the yard while I tend to plants. I keep my eyes out though because she loves to pick up rocks , sticks or leaves and eat them! We always say "no" and now when she picks up somethng she gets our attention by yelling NO and throwing it away. Good Girl.

Daddy goes surfing

Dad loves to surf and it's a little rare now. We went to the beach on this beautiful day. Sofia just started to be able to walk by herself so I put her shoes on since the sand was burning hot and we got to walk all over. After a short time she got closer and closer to the water and clothes started coming off. We watched Buddy played with the anenomes and ate sand.
